High Lonesome

Lurking just above Boulder in Nederland, Colorado, High Lonesome is one of the more popular FKTs in the Front Range. The loop route is 14.5 miles with 3,300 vertical feet of elevation gain.

Optics

Trail Vision

FKT’s shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses aren’t polarized because polarization isn’t what a trail athlete needs. Polarization is wonderful if you’re on the water or snow, but it can cause depth perception issues if you’re running on a trail with variable light conditions. That’s why we opt for our Trail Vision tech which provides 100% UVA/UVB protection. All lenses are treated with hydro-oleophobic, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective coatings to ensure you maintain a consistent field of view through ever-changing conditions.

MY NEW FAVORITE SHADES

So comfortable, cute, and just plain awesome. These do not bounce or slide my face at all, which is a common issue with shades in my experience. Really want to get these in different colors! I got these at an expo and really appreciated just talking to Josh about his brand. Super nice guy and super rad brand.

Great glasses

Fantastic glasses, very comfortable and awesome for running , the service I received when I bought them at Speedgoat was second to non , no pressure , even trusted me to go outside and try them on , my favorite for sure !!

Appreciate the reveiw! Hah! I should be careful letting ultrarunners wander off wearing our sunnies - I'm good for a 10 yard burst but no way I'm tracking you down. Glad you are enjoying them, see you on the trail!

Lightweight and durable!

These are incredibly lightweight and make the perfect accessory for out and about or mountain biking. I have had no scratches thus far which is a surprise given all the dust and rocks that fly up while biking. The adjustable ear pieces are an added bonus for my small frame face and these are my only glasses I’ve had that don’t slide down my nose. Can’t go wrong with these!
