Our premium lightweight, flexible, and extremely durable frames are constructed of Grilamid TR90, a nylon blend that gives you the performance and durability you demand. And you can expect all day comfort due to our soft-touch, no-slip-grip Megol nose pieces and temple tips.

Our TerraVIEW lenses are specifically designed for the trail. These shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses are provided in grey and brown base colors that provide uncompromised clarity, color fidelity, and contrast while maintaining 100% UV protection. All lenses are treated with hydro-oleophobic, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective coatings to ensure you maintain a consistent field of view through ever-changing conditions.

Protect and clean your glasses with environmentally friendly accessories. All FKT sunglasses come accompanied by a protective case, recycled microfiber pouch, and recycled microfiber cleaning cloth.

LENS DETAILS

TerraVIEW is designed specifically for the trail. Nature appears as flat green and brown expanses due to the eye being overwhelmed by the predominance of green light from grass and leaves and orange light from bark, branches, and soil.

TerraVIEW reduces green and orange light transmission providing perfectly balanced color perception, revealing more natural shades from your surroundings and improving your total trail experience.

Rim to Rim (R2R)

This is one way to see the Grand Canyon, but it’s not for the faint of heart. The R2R provides over 10,000 feet of elevation change over the course of around 22 miles. 

Jim Walmsley holds the male FKT clocking a supported time of 2:46:08 back in 2016.

Kimber Mattox set the supported female FKT in 2022, clocking an impressive 3:11:57.

FKT’s shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses aren’t polarized because polarization isn’t what a trail athlete needs. Polarization is wonderful if you’re on the water or snow, but it can cause depth perception issues if you’re running on a trail with variable light conditions. That’s why we opt for our Trail Vision tech which provides 100% UVA/UVB protection. All lenses are treated with hydro-oleophobic, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective coatings to ensure you maintain a consistent field of view through ever-changing conditions.
